Updated September 23, 2026Detent is a business product. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and hashed credentials to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
- Organization roles control who can see and change client work.
- Google Business Profile data is used only for the audits, reports, and profile work you request.
- The default is a review queue, and settings can let low-risk posts, photos, and replies publish on their own. High-risk changes stay in the queue.

Organization roles control who can see and change client work. Passwords are hashed. Sign-in can use email, and Google or Apple when those providers are turned on for the workspace. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for limiting who you invite.
Traffic to Detent uses encrypted connections. Connected Google Business Profile data is used only for the audits, reports, and profile work you request.
Detent’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See the Privacy Policy for how that data is stored and shared.
